What better way to celebrate your birthday than with your kids? Madonna did just that this past weekend.

David Banda was joined by Mercy James and twin sisters Estere and Stella in singing to their mom at her birthday celebration with family and friends. David led the group by starting off the song. Others joined in at the request of the teen who called his mom up to sing in the microphone. Mercy sang and played the piano during the segment. “Best Birthday present ever … when your children sing to you,” Madonna wrote online after the celebration.

The legendary singer is currently on her “Madame X” tour, which features songs from her latest album, Madame X. Madonna recently spoke with TODAY about her tour and life as a mom.
“It’s reminded me how precious time is and how each child requires attention and vigilance and guidance in a different way,” the celebrity mom said of parenthood. “You have to be ready for anything,” Madonna added.

“The more kids that you have the better you get at being a parent,” the ‘Medellin’ singer further explained during her interview segment on TODAY. “It’s like everything, the more songs I write the better I get as a songwriter.”
