Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon gave viewers insight into their child support battle regarding their daughter, Emani Richardson, during the Love & Hip Hop reunion special. Both celebrity parents claimed to have evidence for their claims. Scrappy was sure to point out the absurdity of it taking his appearance on a reality show to get to the bottom of what is going on between him and Erica.
“This is crazy because … This is how I’m getting the answer, right now,” Scrappy told the crowd. “I have to come to Love & Hip Hop, on the stage and get an answer so she can lie and look good in front of people,” the celebrity dad said.
Erica Dixon did not let accusations of her being untruthful go unchecked. “There you go with the lies,” the celebrity mom said. “You’re so angry. What is wrong with you,” Dixon asked.
Scrappy gave a reason for his anger. “I’ve got an app right here,” the star dad said. “So whenever you’re ready to go and say, ‘He not paying child support,’ I’ve got my app right here.”
Erica did delve into the notion of Lil Scrappy falling behind on child support payments. In fact, Erica asked the reunion’s host, Nina Parker, to read alleged documentation from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) that accused Scrappy of being three months behind in child support payments. Scrappy, however, furnished proof from his app that he only missed one payment in recent months. Erica then told her daughter’s father that the letter was all-encompassing and not just in reference to his recent behavior.
Regardless of the strained relationship that Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon currently have in terms of co-parenting, the celebrity father does not let the challenges keep him away from his oldest daughter. The celebrity dad recently took to Instagram to celebrate fathers who work hard for their kids.
“Much love to all the hard-working and real fathers who take care of their kids and responsibilities every day,” Scrappy wrote online. “God got you,” he added. “The world doesn’t care, but God does.”
Emani Richardson is Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon’s only child together. The celebrity father also has a son named Breland with his wife, Adizia “Bambi” Benson. Stay tuned for more celebrity kids news!
