Introducing Chí Summer Black!
Brooke Valentine took to Instagram on Friday to share the first photo of daughter Chi Summer Black. In the photo, Chi can be seen wearing a turban while gazing into the camera.
“Chí Summer Black #2MO,” Brooke captioned of the photo.
Brooke Valentine and her husband Marcus Black surprised fans this past Mother’s Day by announcing that they had welcomed a baby girl in secrecy.
Marcus wrote, “I went back and forth all day on whether or not I was gon post this but I mean… it’s Mother’s Day babe. I just can’t let the day end without publicly thanking you for our princess, I thank God for you and I’m excited about this new journey.”
The rapper continued: “Through all the ups and downs, high-risk appointments, hospital stays and life’s uncertainties you stayed solid. You’ve always been ten toes down. I never had to question where you stood in my life. My plan is to multiply your investment in my purpose. I love you without conditions my ni**a… Happy Mother’s Day.”
Brooke later confirmed that she had indeed kept her pregnancy a secret. She wrote in her Instastory, “Thank you all for your support and respect for privacy. When it comes to my kids I’m just a bit old fashion. Love y’all.”

Valentine and Black ended season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood as an engaged couple, and the duo later married in a private ceremony.
The ‘LHHH’ stars both have kids from previous relationships. Brooke has an older son named London and Marcus has a daughter named Brooklyn.
