Kevin Hart had the support of his wife, Eniko Hart, and kids – Heaven, Hendrix, and Kenzo – at The Secret Life Of Pets 2 premiere this past weekend. The event was held at Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California, on Sunday (June 2) and featured Kevin interviewing on the red carpet with his oldest son.
Hendrix did not appear to be too talkative as the E! News reporter posed questions about the youngster’s thoughts regarding Kevin’s role as Snowball in the film.
“They actually loved it,” Kevin told the reporter before inviting his son into the conversation to share his feelings about his father having a role in the animated film. “Dude! When you first found out that I was going to be Snowball, what were your thoughts,” Kevin asked Hendrix.
“[I thought], ‘You’re going to be in an animated movie,'” the actor’s son replied.
“Yeah, but we were kind of hype about it, though, right,” Kevin asked. “It was a big deal. So it wasn’t something that was small. It was like, ‘Oh, wow! Dad’s going to be in a cartoon.’ Right?” Hendrix replied to both of these questions with a simple, “Yeah.”
Kevin Hart has experienced much success over the years. The comedian has especially seen rapid growth in popularity over the past few months.
“Staying true to your dreams and beliefs are the best priority ever,” Kevin told E! News when asked about his success story. “Nobody believes in you more than you,” he concluded.
Kevin Hart joins Patton Oswalt, Harrison Ford, and others in The Secret Life of Pets 2. The film comes to theaters on June 7, 2019. Watch the movie’s trailer below!
