According to TMZ,

“Sources close to Rah Ali tell TMZ … her baby girl died Sunday, almost immediately after the premature birth. She was not due until the middle of October.

We’re told Rah Ali was in her house Sunday when her water broke and contractions started. She was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her baby.”

Rah Ali’s name spread like wildfire last year after the Met Gala incident that ended with Cardi B ready to fight. Many thought that Cardi was calling out her rival Nicki Minaj. Some, however, claim that the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper’s hostility was directed towards Rah who allegedly hit Cardi in the head at the event.

Ali took to Instagram last year to celebrate her wedding anniversary to her a husband whose name she chose to keep away from the public sphere.

“You are an honorable man,” Rah wrote to her spouse. “One of principle and character that can never be questioned. When I stand beside you and hear you speak, I feel honored. Words can’t begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for you being an amazing man and provider each and every day. Thank you for all that you do. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in life.”

Rah Ali’s daughter with her husband was her first child. Stay tuned for more celebrity pregnancy news.
