Daniel Gibson Jr., son of Keyshia Cole and Daniel Gibson Sr., has undergone minor surgery meant to help him breathe better. The youngster took to his Instagram page to share his journey with fans on Friday (May 3).
“Mommy is here with me and I’m READY FOR THIS SURGERY,” little Daniel shared. “Thank you guys for all of your well wishes and blessings,” he added. “I really look forward to breathing and sleeping better, and just overall playing and interacting like a regular kid!”

The news of Daniel’s surgery comes within hours of the youngster’s mom announcing her expectancy of another child. “Went to Catalina island Last weekend,” Keyshia told her social media fans. “Had such a good time,” she exclaimed. “Just enjoying good times and GREAT VIBES.” Keyshia shared an emoji of a pregnant woman to drive home the point of her expecting a child. She also uploaded a picture of herself showing off her bump.

Daniel Gibson Jr. also took to Instagram to celebrate the impending birth of his younger brother. Yes, young Daniel let the cat out of the bag that his mom is expecting a boy!
Keyshia Cole sent a chilling yet relevant message to parents about the importance of being present in the lives of their children last year. “Babies did not ask to be here,” the singer shared online. “You gotta try to be mentally prepared to make some sacrifices when it comes to your child,” Keyshia continued. “Parents, be there for your children.”
