Ashli Amari Adams is pregnant! The Parent ‘Hood actress celebrated the impending birth of her baby girl this past weekend with a baby shower. Among those in attendance at the celebration were Ashli’s former co-stars Reagan Gomez-Preston and Curtis Williams.
“I am still on a high from Saturday’s festivities,” Adams shared on her Instagram page along with a series of photos.
One photo showed the mom-to-be flanked by her parents. She captioned, “There was so much love and so very many pictures, but I’ll start here, with the folks that made me who I am. I love each of y’all more than words can express. There would be no me or *baby girl* without any of you and I am so grateful to have a village (a few not pictured here) this strong, beautiful, supportive, and magnificent. Thank you for EVERYTHING.”

This is the first child for Ashli, who played the youngest Peterson on The Parent ‘Hood, which aired on The WB from January 18, 1995 to July 25, 1999. The series also starred Robert Townsend and Suzzanne Douglas.
