Alexis Olympia, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s daughter, is a baby who gives back. The youngster’s old clothes are for sale on the Poshmark platform. Those who make purchases do so for a good cause.
Serena Williams partnered with Poshmark last month. All of the tennis star’s gently used clothes sold out within a matter of days. Serena then decided to bring a few of Alexis Olympia’s clothes and shoes to the platform on Thursday (March 8). The items sold out within a matter of minutes.
Few can blame parents who took advantage of Serena Williams bringing items from her daughter’s wardrobe to the Poshmark website. The celebrity mom was quite generous with the pricing as Serena decided to sell Nike Air Max Tiny 90 Sneakers for $37. The price was a steep discount seeing as Air Max Tiny 90 Sneakers usually go for about $65. Serena also sold Alexis Olympia’s Gucci Toddler Leather Low-Top Sneakers for $168. the shoes ordinarily go for about $280.
All proceeds from Serena Williams Poshmark page go towards the Yetunde Price Resource Center. According to the charity’s website,
“The Yetunde Price Resource Center (YPRC) collaborates with partner organizations to offer trauma-informed programs that promote individual and community-wide healing and resiliency. YPRC works to ensure that victims of direct or indirect senseless violence have complete access to existing resources and that where there is a dearth in services, new resources are created.”
