Khloe Kardashian is being mom-shamed for having long nails. Some online critics questioned the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s ability to care for her daughter, True Thompson, after seeing Khloe’s long nails.
Kardashian showed off her newly manicured nails this past weekend. The purpose of the Reality TV star’s Instagram post was to shed light on her new look. Some critics, however, used Khloe’s long nails to question her ability to complete regular mommy tasks such as tackling diaper duties.
“Girl, how do you change diapers,” one curious social media follower asked. “My kids are big and I tried and failed at long nails,” the fan added. Another critic wrote, “The nails of a woman who pays other people to do everything for her.”
The accusations must have struck a nerve with Khloe Kardashian. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star clapped back with a response for those who doubted her ability to care for her daughter while rocking long nails.
“It’s annoying when people talk about my nails,” Khloe tweeted. “Trust me, I manage just fine,” the celebrity mom assured her fans and critics. “The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope.”
Khloe Kardashian shared the joys of motherhood during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “My favorite part about being a mom, I mean it’s so corny, but it’s just like, no matter how tired you are, it’s complete bliss, no matter what,” she shared. “I think also motherhood just puts life into perspective and what’s important to you,” Khloe added. “I think you just reevaluate things, like, ‘I don’t want to do that tonight.’ And it’s OK to say no, so I can spend time with my family.”
