Gabrielle Union is a talented actress, and we know that her baby, Kaavia James Union Wade, is absolutely hilarious on Instagram. The We’re Going To Need More Wine author was just added to the judges’ panel of America’s Got Talent, and we feel loads of shade coming our way.
“One of the many secrets to the success and longevity of America’s Got Talent is its fearless drive to reinvent itself,” Meredith Ahr, President of Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment, says. “The next evolution of the format brings in fresh expert eyes to join Simon [Cowell] and Howie [Mandel] on the panel,” Ahr reveals. Gabrielle Union is set to join the existing panelists as well as Julianne Hough and Terry Crews who were also added as new judges.
“Gabrielle and Julianne are two of the most aspirational women in the business, on top of being electric entertainers with talent across disciplines,” Ahr shares. “As their partner in crime, host Terry Crews will continue to light up the stage with his quick wit and unending charm.”
America’s Got Talent has certainly had its share of memorable moments throughout the years. Perhaps one of the most significant segments was that of Bianca Ryan’s audition in 2006. The then-11-year-old sang ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ from Dreamgirls. Bianca received a standing ovation and approval from the judges that placed her on track to winning the $1 million prize at the end of the season. Bianca went on to found her own label titled Bianca Ryan Records. She has also worked with renowned influencers in the industry.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” Bianca recently said of her journey from America’s Got Talent to present day. “It changed my life in so many ways,” Ryan added. “Never did I think I would be able to travel the world and meet fans and real people that look up to me and hear me as some type of legend. I’ve been able to be on shows like Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey and work with amazing producers and writers like Kara DioGuardi, David Foster, and Quincy Jones!”
Who will come out as the victor in the upcoming season of America’s Got Talent? We’ll have to watch and see!
