Pastor John Gray of Relentless Church attended the NAACP Image Awards’ special screening of OWN’s The Book Of John Gray at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles on Friday, January 11, 2019. The celebrity pastor had his wife, Aventer Gray, and two kids (and Royalty Brown) by his side at the event.
John Gray has been getting a lot of press since buying his wife a Lamborghini worth $200,000. The Relentless Church pastor told his fans and critics that the gift was in appreciation for all that Aventer does for their family and church. Some, however, have come to believe that there’s more to the luxury gift than what meets the eye.
Obnoxious Television was the first among gossip sites to break the news of Pastor Gray having an extramarital affair. The blogger furnished documentation meant to show proof of the alleged affair that ended with Aventer confronting the mistress who was reportedly pregnant with John Gray’s child.
“I put Scripture on that strange woman,” Aventer said of the confrontation during a 2018 sermon by John Gray. “She don’t want it with me and she don’t want it with Y’all,” the first lady added. Aventer promised to stay with her husband despite the public scrutiny. “I’m standing with my husband and you can go on back to the pits of Hell where you came from,” she said.
Aventer and John Gray have reportedly moved forward from the affair and are even planning to host a marriage seminar, in which they plan to help other couples heal from the pains of infidelity and other challenges, next month. Cath John and Aventer Gray at home every week on The Book Of John Gray.
