“My boy is a true Giant and a Giants fan so we went in with the red, white, and blue,” Monica said of her decision to bolster a Giants theme for Romelo’s party. The celebrity mom also showed off pictures from the bash, which included a tiered cake created by Tiny Cakes Couture that nearly appeared too good to eat.

Romelo’s party was not just about cake and decorations. The youngster also had entertainment that was nothing short of top-notch. “They get cooler as the years go by,” Monica said. “I’m thankful that we as a family can always have fun.”
Monica delved into the beauty of her blended family during a recent interview with ESSENCE. “You have to think of the children first at all times and the reality is, if it’s not about them it’s not up for discussion,” Monica told the media source. “We have to tuck our feeling in as a blended family and say ‘okay what would be best’ and what’s the best way.”

Monica and her husband, Shannon Brown, have one child, Laiyah Brown, together. Romelo and his older brother, Rodney Brown Jr., are Monica’s sons from a previous relationship.
