Idris Elba arrived at 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards with his 16-year-old daughter Isan Elba and his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre

Isan, who is serving as the Miss Golden Globe Ambassador for the evening, wore a black sequin dress to the prestigious affair.

“I’m the Golden Globes Ambassador,” Isan told E!’s Live from the Red Carpet. “You’ll see me on stage holding the trophies, and I get to see cool celebrities; it’s a big deal.” Adding that she is “very excited” for the night.

So what advice does dad Idris have for his darling daughter?

“I told her to keep her back straight, elegance is presence, smile and nod politely even if you can’t understand what anyone’s saying,” Idris teased. “If you feel like you’re going to pass out.. don’t.”

Adding, “She’s good. She’s so confident! I can’t help but be a dad. I’ll just try to be cool.”
