XXXTentacion’s unborn son will be named Gekyume, the late rapper’s mom has revealed. Over the weekend, Cleopatra Bernard revealed that her late son chose the name prior to his passing.
Cleo shared on her Instagram, “When Jah found out initially about the baby, he had two names already picked out. He wanted a boy, he ended up having a boy, and that’s the name that he chose for his son. And so I decided to honor my son and give his only child the name that he chose.”
So what is the meaning of Gekyume? In an Instagram Live video posted back in March, X reveals that Gekyume, a word that he made up, means “a different state or next universe of thought”.
XXXTentacion was fatally shot in June. Gekyume will be the only child for the Floridian musician, real name Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy.
