“Tears. all day, for the rest of my life,” Jhene said of her daughter’s new age. “Double digits means she’ll be a teenager soon. I am so, so emo about it,” the celebrity mom continued. “My silly, bossy little Scorpio who taught me how to BOSS up. You will always be my baby even when you’re towering over me (which is gonna happen any day now).” Jhene Aiko also shared a video clip of a young Namiko enjoying a bit of music with her mom. “My baby is 10 today,” the star mom exclaimed.

It was during an interview with Billboard last year that Jhene Aiko explained how her creative process has changed since journeying down the path of parenthood. “I was 20 and I got pregnant,” Jhene explained. “I started working on my mixtape and decided to buckle down, so quit my waitressing job. From that point on I was really passionate about creating music. Being creative wasn’t the problem, the drive was. My daughter’s imagination inspires my imagination.”
