Gabrielle Union wants you to understand how to pronounce her daughter’s name. The celebrity mom took to Instagram this past weekend to give her social media fans a lesson on how to properly address her little one.
“Just greazzzy and happy,” Gabrielle said of her glowing appearance in the shot. The new mom was holding her daughter close in the picture. “@kaaviajames pronounced Kah-Vee-Uh James,” Union said of her daughter’s name. “She has 102 nicknames including but not limited to Kaav, Kaavi, Kaavi Baby, Kaavi J, Jamie, KJ, Nugget, Nug, Pooters,” Gabby continued. “We wanted to include my family in her name so the ‘James’ is from my uncle James Francis Glass who is also my godfather. Union is her middle name. I’ve waited this long so fo sho I was gonna get in there.”
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade shared the name of their daughter with social media fans last week. Dwyane took a picture of himself getting his daughter first and second name tattooed on his shoulders. “#TBT Goes back to that one night in China when I decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me. Kaavia James Union Wade,” the celebrity father wrote.
