Some may believe that Waka Flocka Flame is at the height of his career. Still, it seems the rapper is ready to close the book on his life as an entertainer for the sake of having a child with his wife, Tammy Rivera. Waka tells Raquel Harper of TMZ that he is done with rap and not planning to look back.

“I been gave it up,” Waka reveals to the interviewer. “Ask my wife,” he continues. “I don’t wanna rap.”
But why would Waka Flocka Flama walk away when it seems that his career is gaining more momentum than ever? “I did what I came to do,” he tells Raquel Harris. “I made past 30 million dollars, everybody that I started with is rich, everybody’s happy, everybody’s got kids… My right-hand man that was running the streets with me is a pastor, life changed for me. People want me to be hard in the paint, why? I’m 32 years old, I’m a grown a** man.”

Waka also has plans for family expansion, which may further explain why he has moved away from the studio and mainstage. “I just want to be a good husband,” he tells Raquel. “I’m about to make a baby next year,” the rapper exclaims.
It was just last year that Waka Flocka Flame and his family spent Thanksgiving Day with their community. The celebrity father along with his wife and stepdaughter gave dozens of turkeys to families in need. “It’s a blessing,” Debra Antney, Waka Flocka Flame’s mom, shared while helping her son and his family hand out turkeys at the charity event. “Once upon a time, people did this for us. So it’s always good when you can give back to other people. It’s just a blessing.”
Will Waka Flocka Flame and Tammy Rivera have a little one in tow when giving back to the community in coming years? We will have to wait and see!
