Mariah Carey in Shanghai? Such was a thing earlier this week as the Popstar had her children, Monroe and Moroccan, join her onstage for an incredible performance.
The kids sang a few verses with their mom near the end of the show. Monroe and Moroccan then thanked every for coming and, in true Mariah Carey fashion, told the crowd how much they loved their smiling faces. “Amazing,” one Instagram fan said after seeing Mariah and her kids perform onstage in Shanghai. “See you at the stage of Osaka, Japan.”
Mariah Carey has been making waves in Asia for several decades. In fact, it was just a few days ago that the recording artist was honored for selling upwards of 1.6 billion albums in the continent. “Thank you so much Sony Music Asia Pacific for this honor,” Mariah shared online. The celebrity also uploaded a picture of herself holding an award that recognized her accomplishment.
“Thank you to all of my amazing Asian fans for all the years of support,” Carey wrote online. “I love you and I’m so excited to be here on this tour!”
Mariah Carey’s life revolved around shows in Las Vegas last year. Will she continue her international tour for the next few years? We’ll have to keep watching to see!
