Lyrica Anderson and A1 Bentley are excited about baby! The celebrity couple recently stopped by the Wendy Williams Show to talk about the expanding family.
“I did,” A1 said when asked if he took a paternity test to confirm that he was the father of Lyrica’s child. “Yeah, for sure [I am the father],” A1 told Wendy.
There was a rumor that Lyrica Anderson was carrying another man’s child. Safaree gave fuel to the rumor while discussing the notion of him having an affair with Lyrica during a recent episode of Love & Hip Hop. Many could not get over Ray J’s ever-moving hat long enough to realize the seriousness of the situation.
“K. Michelle started it,” A1 told Wendy. The musician did not refrain from taking a jab at the female recording artist for creating such a vicious rumor about his unborn child.
In addition to learning who started the rumor of Lyrica having an affair and subsequently carrying another man’s child, fans also learned the sex of the Bentley’s little one. “I wanted Wendy to be the first to know. We’re having a boy,” Lyrica shared.

When recently asked about the most challenging aspect of impending parenthood A1 said, “The most challenging part about having a baby is going to be [Lyrica] bugging me.” Lyrica definitely chimed in with a rebuttal.
“No,” she defended. “What happens is, he thinks I’m just going to sit at home and watch the baby. We’re both musicians. We’re both songwriters. No, we’re going to take turns.”
