Wow! Things between NFL player LeSean McCoy and the mother of his 6-year-old son are heating up. Recent court documents allege that McCoy has abused his son on several occasions.
According to Stephanie Maisonet, McCoy orchestrated the home invasion attack that ended with the harsh beating of his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon. TMZ Sports reports,
“Maisonet says after the attack on Cordon, LeSean called her — something he didn’t often do — and offered her a deal. Maisonet claims McCoy told her if she’d publicly support his character and insinuate he wasn’t behind the attack, he’d roll over in their custody case with their 6-year-old son … and let her enroll the child in school in Miami.”
Maisonet agreed to post something positive about McCoy in hopes of making the custody battle go more smoothly. Things allegedly took a turn for the worse as Maisonet claims that McCoy abuses their son. “I regret ever agreeing to help LeSean McCoy in this case,” Maisonet said in court documents. “I feel like I am sending our son to a monster every two weeks.”
LeSean McCoy did not comment on his child’s mother accusing him of orchestrating an attack against his ex-girlfriend. The NFL player instead focused on his relationship with his son.
“The allegations made against me today regarding my relationship with my son are provably false, outrageously inaccurate and offensive,” the celebrity father shared with his social media fans. “I have a loving and close-knit relationship with my son,” McCoy added. “The young boy is my whole life,” he reiterated. “With a custody case coming in November, I can see why these false allegations are surfacing,” McCoy concluded.
