It’s Jhene Aiko and her daughter, Namiko Love Browner, taking a stroll through Los Angeles. The celebrity mom recently shared photos of her and her “mini me” just relaxing and enjoying the sights in the city.
“My favorite girl,” Jhene captioned underneath one picture of her and Namiko walking hand-in-hand. Both of the ladies were rocking their natural curls, which made the picture that much more sweet.
Another photo showed Jhene Aiko and Namiko hanging out at a local store. The celebrity mom and her daughter appeared to be enthralled by the stones in the shop. “Home,” Jhene said in reference to the day that she and Namiko spent out and about in Los Angeles.
It was just last year that Jhene Aiko discussed the moment that she realized her passion for music ran deeper than some of her peers. “When I was in elementary school my sisters were in a group,” she explained to Billboard. “Everything they did I wanted to do. I would sing along. I did a talent show in the second grade and sang a song by 702. I knew it was something I was good at but my true passion was always my writing.”
“When I was 12 I signed my first deal with Sony Epic. Growing up in LA the opportunities were there. My older siblings were involved in the business. It was something I fell into.” Jhene further clarified, “Being creative wasn’t the problem, the drive was. My daughter’s imagination inspires my imagination.”
