The case between Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell continues to get messy. In the latest court documents, Ed requests the courts to reduce the amount that he pays for child support since Keshia doesn’t work as much , and according to Hartwell, shouldn’t need a full-time nanny.
TMZ reports,
“Ed Hartwell, a retired NFL linebacker, is begging the court to reconsider its ruling in their divorce — according to legal docs obtained by TMZ — claiming he’s been asked to pay too much in child support because Keshia has no need for a full-time nanny.
Ed wants to see their kid more and says he shouldn’t have to foot the bill for a full-time nanny … seemingly taking a dig at Keshia because she hasn’t worked as consistently as when she had recurring roles on The Cosby Show and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.”
Keshia did not let Ed’s scrutiny of her work schedule pass. The celebrity mom also took a dig at her ex-husband by telling the courts that it was quite interesting that Ed would want to spend more time with his daughter now seeing as how he questioned his fathering Ella Grace before her arrival.
Some may remember the shocking divorce announcement that came in 2016. Ed broadsided Keshia by filing for divorce in May. The actress was expecting their first child at the time. Hartwell later accused his estranged wife of infidelity, which is a claim that Keshia vehemently denied.
“I knew I couldn’t be silent because this isn’t about money,” Keshia Knight Pulliam told ET Online exclusively. “This isn’t about fame. This isn’t about social media likes or follows. This is about my character — my integrity as a woman being attacked — and that’s not OK.”
Keshia accused her ex-husband of infidelity during the early stages of their divorce proceedings. It seems that she may not have been lying as Ed Hartwell’s alleged mistress-turned-girlfriend, Tonya Carroll, is expecting a child with the former NFL star.
