REPORT: ZAIRE WADE HAS RECEIVED AN OFFER FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA

Gabrielle Union Is Probably Stoked Right About Now

Zaire Wade already has an offer for college basketball on the table. According to Sports Illustrated, the University of Nebraska has offered the oldest son of Dwyane Wade a spot on their athletic program.

“The 16-year-old has yet to crack 247Sports’ top-100 ranking of recruits for the class of 2020, but that didn’t stop the Huskers from extending an early offer to the talented 6’2″ point guard.”

The likelihood of Zaire Wade choosing Nebraska over the other offers that he is bound to get in coming years is quite strong. It is the teen’s stepmom, after all, who has family ties to the state and absolutely loves how the Huskers do sports. In fact, Gabrielle Union took to Twitter the other week to announce her family’s planned visit to Nebraska and was nothing short of thrilled over the idea of Zaire getting to see the “sea of red” that would represent fan loyalty. “Nebraska, let’s show him how we do it,” Union tweeted.

Of course, there are other teams for Zaire to consider, which include the Golden Eagles at Marquette University where his father played college ball. Dwyane Wade would definitely be excited if Zaire received an offer from his alma mater and accepted the invite. The celebrity father did, after all, have a home basketball court designed in the Marquette way for his son.

Only time will tell which college program Zaire chooses. For now, the 16-year-old remains focused on finishing his high school studies and further perfecting his craft.
