Dwyane Wade wants to celebrate his wife, Gabrielle Union. The NBA star took to Instagram to celebrate his love for being an amazing stepmom earlier this week.

“She’s a star in her most important role,” Dwyane told his Instagram fans. “I wanna acknowledge my wife and the kids’ stepmom for being everything that each boy and I have needed her to be,” the star father wrote online. “We couldn’t have wished for more @gabunion …Thank you for loving us!”
Dwyane and Gabrielle traveled with the kids to Venice, Italy, to attend Dwyane Wade Sr.’s wedding ceremony. “You know the ‘Wade boys’ had to show up fresh for Pops wedding in Venice,” Dwyane told his Instagram fans. “It was a picture-perfect day celebrating forever love,” the NBA star added.
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade celebrate their four-year wedding anniversary this year. Dwyane recently shared how he and his wife navigate through the tough times of marriage as public figures.
“It’s definitely not the easiest thing in the world,” Dwyane said of being married and famous. “I think the biggest thing with me and my wife—what we’ve always tried to do in our short period of time, especially being married—is just to stay in constant communication with each other, try to support each other in everything. And it’s tough at times.”
Dwyane further explained, “We love each other, we try to make it work, but I would tell people out there it’s definitely not easy when you got two people who have their own careers, their own individual brands, and you’re trying to have your own family and own life. But you know, we definitely try to make it work.”
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union parent three children together. The NBA star his wife also parent Dwyane Wade’s nephew.
