Kevin Hart is doing a lot of good in this world. The celebrity father recently partnered with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to secure more than half a million dollars in scholarship funds for up-and-coming intellectuals.

Kevin donated $100,000 of the $600,000 used to help 18 students attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). “This is just the beginning people,” Kevin exclaimed. “I’m also proud of the eight kids from Philadelphia that received these scholarships. Stand up Philadelphia!”
The UNCF expressed gratitude in Kevin Hart’s partnership and donation. “#HelpFromTheHart will help #HBCU students from eight cities complete college,” the organization shared on Instagram.
Kevin Hart shared his philosophy about success, which is grounded in community, during a recent interview with Good Morning America. “No person’s success alone,” he said. “Success is a community effort. The more relationships you have, the better you’ll be able to survive, thrive, and grow,” Hart shared. “You rise out of your humble beginnings to become part of a community, and it is only together as equals that we will save the world.”
Reflecting on this past week – when #UNCF with support from @KevinHart4real and @KIPP was able to surprise students from 11 different #HBCUs, like Kerry Gaino @bethunecookman, with scholarships to earn college degrees. #BetterFutures #YounggiftedandBlack #KevinHart #KIPP pic.twitter.com/etUuPwxoCN
