Norma Mitchell is not giving up without a fight. The mother of Tyrese’s oldest daughter, Shayla, is reportedly using the actor’s past anger problems and alleged mental issues to combat his proposal of primary custody of their child.
According to The Blast,
“Norma claims with Tyrese’s busy Hollywood schedule, Norma would be raised by her nanny and step-mother and not her father.
She goes on to say she ‘has serious concerns as to [Tyrese’s] anger issues and mental health, exhibited by many puzzling videos he has posted.’ Norma claims Tyrese has also made public comments about having a meltdown and has admitted to seeing ‘multiple therapists and psychiatrist.'”
Tyrese has experienced his share of public outbursts just like any other celebrity in his shoes. It was just a few months ago that the star father took to social media to rant about the bias of the justice system with regards to his daughter’s custody matter. The FURIOUS actor alluded to being financially drained by proceedings and began to cry about the notion of no longer having quality time with his daughter. Tyrese later revealed that he was taking medication at the time that led to his erratic behavior.
Tyrese filed for full custody of his daughter in June. A judge has yet to make a decision regarding the request. Stay tuned for more celebrity child custody news!
