Chris Bosh is reportedly still planning a comeback to the NBA despite serious medical problems that led to his retirement last year. According to CBS Sports,

“Bosh has been out of the league since the summer of 2017, when the Heat officially released him after the team was unwilling to clear him for game action following multiple recurrences of blood clots. Though Bosh would face substantial risk of life-threatening internal bleeding as a result of the hard contact inherent in basketball, it apparently hasn’t dissuaded him from calling an end to his career.”

Although he would admittedly need to overcome several legal and health barriers before being considered a viable candidate in the NBA again, Bosh is seemingly hopeful of his ability to bounce back.

Chris Bosh was ruled to have a career-ending illness by doctors last year after the player developed blood clots that landed him in the hospital for several days. “Miami had about 50 million reasons for him to play and could not get a doctor to clear him,” an NBA executive told media after Chris was released from the Miami Heat. “[It is] very unlikely the answer will be different at a team with zero million reasons for him to play.”

Will the future lend Chris Bosh another season or two in the NBA? We have to keep watching things unfold to find out!
