Just Call Her DJ Switch

She’s got skills! Erica Tandoh is the 10-year-old Ghana DJ who is making history. The rising star recently spoke with media about her plans to progress in the industry and later become a gynecologist.

“I started deejaying when I was nine years and I just wanted to try my hand at it,” Erica says of her career. “Being a young DJ is not that difficult, when you are being taught in school you pick everything fast, so when you are being taught deejaying you also pick it up fast.”

Erica Tandoh is definitely on the path to success. The youngster, better known as DJ Switch, became famous after finding success on a televised talent contest. Now, Tandoh is the youngest DJ to ever win Ghana’s yearly DJ Awards.

Although she loves the art of deejaying, Erica does not plan to build her life around the occupation. “Deejaying is my passion but I want to be a gynecologist because I want to help women,” she told media.

You should definitely keep your eyes and ears open for this budding star!
