What better way to celebrate summer than with a visit to Disney World? Thomas Rhett and the family rang in the season with a visit to the Magic Kingdom earlier this week.
One candid of the country music singers daughters, Willa and Ada, could not be ignored. Young Willa was captured while holding her little sister Ada’s hand. Both of the girls appear excited about the journey ahead. “When you wish upon a star,” proud mom Lauren Rhett captioned. How many want to guess that Thomas and Lauren gave their girls the surprise of a lifetime?
Lauren and Thomas Rhett gushed about their daughters during the 2018 GRAMMY Awards red carpet event. “She was jealous at first, I think. But it’s so fun to watch her,” Thomas said of Willa’s adjusting to having a younger sister. “[Willa] loves our little Ada so much, and it’s been amazing watching her be a great big sister,” the country music singer added.
Lauren also chimed in on the bond of sisterhood that her daughters have established. “I think it’s something that we just hoped for,” she revealed. “[Willa] was very fresh, just coming to America. So [being a big sister] was something that we wanted her to feel comfortable [with]. Not like, ‘You’re home and now this little one is coming in.’ I think I was more nervous that she just wouldn’t feel comfortable. But the second I was like, ‘Do you want to give her a kiss?’ and [Willa] leaned over and kissed [Ada], it was just like, ‘Thank You, God. This literally could not have been any sweeter.'”
The Rhetts finalized their adoption process for Willa just months before giving birth to their youngest daughter, Ada, last year. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
