Melanie Brown’s accusations of abuse just got a bit more substantiated. The celebrity mom’s daughter, Angel, has allegedly written a three-page letter affirming her Melanie’s claims of abuse. Andrea Brown, Mel B’s mother, shared the distressing letter with her social media followers a few days ago.
“I’m very frightened of Stephen,” Angel’s alleged letter read. “When he is mad it is terrifying. I never want to see him ever again.” The essay went on to say, “I heard Stephen hitting mommy’s hands and it was hard cos I heard it. Mommy said: ‘You slapped my nail off’. I attempted to fake sleep cause I didn’t want to interfere and get hurt.”

Some believed that Angel was the author of the three-page letter. Many of Andrea’s social media followers, however, criticized Mel B’s mother for making the note public. “I don’t believe a child wrote this,” one critic said. “I also think it’s sick to use a child like this. Instead of putting this out in public why not give it to the judge. Poor kids.”
Another of Andrea’s subscribers wrote, “You should be keeping this private, not putting it out in the public domain for the rest of that child’s life. Shocking behavior from your family regardless of who is telling the truth. This is NOT protecting your children, it is selfish point-scoring. Shame on you all!”

Still, even with strong scrutiny coming her way, Andrea stood behind her decision to share. “Children r also victims and should b heard,” she wrote on Tuesday. “I won’t see another grandchild of mine suffer like Phoenix did.”
Melanie Brown confirmed her separation from Stephen Belafonte last year. The celebrity mom later alluded to the notion of domestic violence being the straw that broke the camels back in her relationship. Mel B is the proud mother of three children.
