The rapper prepared a special rendition of The Birthday Song that included musical background by Murdabeatz. “Happy birthday,” Offset rhymed. “It’s your birthday/ The three-way.” Other party members were dancing to the beat and lyrics of Offset and his crew. Kody, however, just stood and watched his father perform. The toddler didn’t appear too interested in partying but he was every bit anxious to be held by his dad.

Offset often shares pictures and video footage of his kids with Instagram fans. It was just last year that Offset shared a candid of Kody crying in front of the cameras at a family gathering. “Crybaby,” the rapper captioned underneath the photo. Offset got a bit of backlash from his daughter’s mother who felt like he was pretending to be a family man.

“U have a daughter sir,” the mom said. “I try not to be petty because Kalea gone be straight regardless, but it irks my nerves to the core to see people put on when I and THEY know the real…. I tried to be civil, but you see THAT ain’t work.” Offset later shared pictures and video footage of him taking his daughter on a shopping spree. Now, how’s that for balanced parenting? We love it!
