Monica knows how to give birthday parties! The celebrity mom celebrated her son Romelo’s tenth birthday this past weekend with cake, gifts, and some of the tween’s closest friends.

Even Monica had to comment on the party’s cake, which was designed after a combat tank. “Can you all believe this cake,” Monica asked her Instagram fans. “The alligator, tank, crates and all,” she exclaimed. “@forgoodcakes, you all exceeded my expectations and were one of the best parts of #RomelosBattleGround surprise.”

Another high part of the gathering was the decorations that included a jeep fit for the battleground. Romelo was sure to take a picture while sitting on top of the vehicle.

Monica wished her son well wishes on his birthday last week. “I Love You with my entire being,” she wrote in an open note. “I appreciate your desire for knowledge and understanding when it comes to life!! I adore your belief in yourself and the fact that you will remind me to believe in me. Some told me having children could mean a loss of support in my career! Yet one look in your eyes was the inspiration that lit the fire for me to break more records and reach higher!”

Romelo is Monica’s youngest son. The celebrity mom has three kids in all.
