Amina certainly is strong and continues to prove her resilience by pursuing her passions while being a single mother. The reality star moved to Los Angeles indefinitely in 2016 after her then-husband Peter Gunz cheated on her.
“I kind of had the idea of leaving New York right before the reunion [of Love & Hip Hop],” she explained during an interview with VH1. “That was when I decided I can no longer be with Peter and I just felt like I needed to be away from this situation. Not necessarily him but the whole situation and I needed to just focus on myself so I found an apartment and right now I’m currently living here.”
