JHENE AIKO LAUNCHES NEW CHARITY, DONATES $15,000 TO 5-YEAR-OLD CANCER PATIENT RIGHT OFF THE BAT

Jhene Aiko is doing a lot of good around here. The celebrity mom recently made a donation via her new foundation, WAYS Foundation, to 5-year-old Lily Olive of Eagle Rock, California, who is presently battling cancer.

Aiko visited the little one at her home on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) to present the $15,000 check to Lily and her family. The celebrity mom hopes that her contribution can help with some of the medical bills that come with treating a serious illness such as cancer.

Jhene Aiko knows all too well about the effects of cancer. Her brother, Miyagi, passed away at an early age after being diagnosed with the disease. Jhene created her WAYS Foundation in honor of Miyagi and carries out her goal of giving a bit of hope to parents with children fighting cancer through the charity.

“This Christmas, I decided to gift my family with the ‘WAYS Foundation,’ something my family and I have had in the works since the passing of my brother,” Aiko said of her organization. “I decided to make a donation on my family’s behalf in which we plan to continue to help people and families affected by cancer,” she revealed.

Kudos to Jhene Aiko for making a positive impact one family at a time. Stay tuned for more details about Jhene Aiko’s WAYS Foundation!
