Tia Mowry is committed to literacy and that includes reading at least 15 pages to her son, Cree, every night. The celebrity mom recently partnered with How Life Unfolds for their latest campaign called “#15 Pages A Day.”
“Cree will be in first grade this year,” Tia explained in a statement on the organization’s website. “It’s important to my husband and me that we read to him from a printed book every night in order to help him develop lifelong habits that will help him in his education as he grows older,” she continued.
“He’s starting to read. He’s playing sports. He loves arts and crafts. He is becoming his own little person, and I love watching him grow and find his place in the world.”
Fans of Tia Mowry also love to watch Cree grow. It was just a few weeks ago that subscribers of the actress’ Quick Fix YouTube series requested a video in which Tia showed her “fix” for detangling Cree’s hair.
“I’m a mom, and I live a very busy, hectic life,” Tia said of the show during a recent interview with E! News’ Daily Pop. “So I’m all about looking for life hacks,” she added. “That’s what the show’s all about.”
