Share Your Care Day is right around the corner. Christina Milian and her daughter, Violet Nash, want you to be prepared. The mother-daughter duo took to Instagram to celebrate the big day ahead of its September 9th touchdown.
“Violet and I love our @carebears,” Christina wrote online. “Share Your Care Day is 9/9 and we want you to help us celebrate! Post a photo with a heart on your nose letting us know how you #ShareYourCare. Violet and I share our care by keeping a positive attitude and sharing in our happiness with a smile to those who cross our path daily. A smile is worth a Mil! Ask Cheer Bear!”
Share Your Care Day was created to celebrate Care Bears, which have brought smiles to kids nationwide for more than three decades. “For 35 years, Care Bears have taught children of all ages about sharing their feelings and caring for others,” National Day Calendar states. “The most significant part of this holiday is its main goal: With the help of a team of Care Bears Ambassadors, as well as several Care Bears partners, the Share Your Care Day movement, hopes to inspire acts of kindness and goodwill across the United States and beyond.”
Many view Care Bears as nothing more than stuffed animals. The brand, however, works to spread compassion worldwide. In fact, the #ShareYourCare movement was established to encourage individuals to be nice and share their acts of kindness online. The hope is that sharing will encourage everyone to consider others above themselves.
