In a digital world where everything is documented and posted online at the drop of a hat, has technology become so easy that even a 5-year-old can do it? Well, if you are as talented as Jayden Bethea from Richmond, VA, the camera is just an added bonus.
Perhaps Bethea’s natural talent is bound in his DNA, as his mother Selah Bethea started with photography in middle school. After Selah realized her dream of modeling, she decided that she wanted to do photography professionally.
“I love what I do now because I am highly motivated and love inspiring others,” Selah told BuzzFeed. “I thrive on…coaching other women to be successful by being who God made them to be.” When Selah noticed that her son was “attentive to what was happening” while she was working on a trip to Charlotte, she “…put his first camera, the Nikon 5300 DSLR, in his hand and he joined the shoot. That was his big start.”
We can not wait to see what the future holds for this budding photographer. We will not be surprised if we soon see him shooting A-listers before he’s even out of elementary school. To follow this incredible young man’s journey, click here.
