Serena Williams is ready to pop! The tennis star shared a series of selfies over the weekend that showed off her baby bump.
One candid was especially telling of Serena’s due date as it showed off her figure in a dress that hugged all of her curves. “Looking fabulous,” one fan wrote. Another photo placed Serena’s pregnancy glow on display. “You look amazing,” a follower exclaimed.
Serena Williams and fiance Alexis Ohanian are expecting their first child to arrive in fall. “If you would have told me last year in October or November that I would have a baby, not be pregnant but have a baby, I would have thought you were the biggest liar in the world,” the mommy-to-be said during a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “This is happening sooner than later, and it’s going by so fast,” she added.
Things certainly are going by rather quickly but Alexis Ohanian is prepared. “I’ll be taking off for six weeks myself and trying to do my best — the best job possible as a new dad, first-time dad,” he revealed during a recent appearance on Squawk Box. As for Serena, Alexis told media that his future wife was “well on her way to being an awesome mom.” Agreed.
