Russell Simmons and his daughters, Ming and Aoki, took center stage at his charity’s event on Saturday. The RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation held its annual Art For Life Benefit, called “Midnight At The Oasis” this year, at Fairview Farms in Water Mill, New York, and the event raised upwards of $1 million of aid.
“Rush_arts an amazing night,” Russell told his Instagram fans after this past weekend’s event. “Raised over 1million for programs in NYC and in Philadelphia,” he added. “Thank you to all who participated and all who donated.”

Ming and Aoki were looking just fab on the red carpet as they stood by their father while paparazzi took pictures. Ming was definitely in touch with her modeling side as several shots of her caused fans to reflect on her mom’s stance on the runway. “Mamas beautiful babies,” Kimora Lee Simmons shared along with a photo from Saturday night’s event.
The RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation works to give inner city youth the opportunity to experience art. The charity firmly believes in the notion of creativity being a life-saver, which is why it raises funds every year to spread the wonders of art to children who otherwise would not be exposed to such opportunity.
