Three generations met up this past weekend at the 2017 ESSENCE Festival. The event was held at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and presented by Coca-Cola with Holly Robinson-Peete and her family in the spotlight.
Holly’s daughter, Ryan, and mother, Delores Robinson, joined Congresswoman Maxine Waters backstage before taking the main stage to address guests. Ryan appeared to be in her element as she had a few words in between her mother and grandmother’s nuggets of wisdom.
