Willow Smith is known for being a vehement activist, championing everything from human rights to protecting the environment. The teenage activist recently took time out of her family vacation to clean up trash and debris, with the help of her mother, from the beach in Antipaxos, Greece.
“Being so far away from what I perceive as a polluted metropolis, I couldn’t stand seeing these beautiful beaches in Greece littered with trash,” the young super star commented on Instagram. “I saw seagulls, dead on their backs from chocking on tiny slivers of plastic and other non-biodegradable materials…4 beautiful humans accompanied my mom and I in gathering 22 bags full of plastics and urban debris off of 3 small beaches in Antipaxos, Greece…Hopefully today we were able to elongate and preserve the beauty & existence of the local sea life.”
