Brentt Leakes is one of several thousand graduates this commencement season and his parents are simply overjoyed. Gregg and NeNe Leakes took to Instagram to celebrate their son who walked the stage to receive his high school diploma on Wednesday.
“Congrats to my Son, King Brentt for pulling thru,” Gregg wrote online. “Graduation is tonite and the World awaits your doing something to make life better for everybody you touch. They grow up fast.”
NeNe also took to social media to celebrate her son. “This day is finally here,” the celebrity mom wrote. “@greggleakes your baby is wayyyyyy bigger than you! The little shoes you once loved seeing @kingbrentt wear you guys get to laugh and reminisce about it today. I’m so proud! I can’t keep it together.”
Many will remember Brentt from his varied appearances on the hit reality series Real Housewives of Atlanta. The youngster is NeNe and Gregg’s only child together and one of the reasons why the family did not completely make the transition to Los Angeles during season five of the show. Brentt watched as his older brother, Bryson, carved his path and now the 18-year-old will get to do the same.
“Son..Plan your play – then play your plan,” Gregg told his son on Thursday. “Stay focused, on target, on Trac.. Look it over before you jump in.. Let nobody my son tell you what you can’t be or do or feel or think. Greatness has been given to you from above… You build it son, I will come.. Congrats again.. #prouddad.”
