La La Anthony’s heart beats for Kiyan. The celebrity mom shared a picture of, and tribute to, her son this past weekend.
La La and Kiyan took on the red carpet at Vh1’s “Dear Mama” screening together. “He’s the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside,” the celebrity mom said of her son online. Thousands of Instagram fans responded to the touching statement with likes and comments. “Stay strong,” one fan wrote. “Handling yourself very well,” another commented.
La La has been moving forward after news of her and estranged husband Carmelo Anthony separating went mainstream. “My family is my strength,” La La revealed at Saturday’s “Dear Mama” screening. “My family and God is my strength. That’s where I’ve always found my strength my entire life, so now would be no different.”
The television personality went on to talk about her son who is turning out to be an all-around amazing guy. “He’s an amazing basketball player, amazing student and an amazing person,” Anthony shared. “That’s what means the most to me, is just being humble and a good, good person with a good heart, and that’s what he is.”
Kiyan is La La and Carmelo Anthony’s only child. He celebrated his tenth birthday a few weeks ago.
