Ludacris and the family were in full celebration mode this past weekend as the rapper’s latest installment in the FURIOUS franchise, Fate of the Furious, was seen by millions nationwide. The film opened with historic box office sales that Ludacris acknowledged on Instagram.
The star cast member uploaded a snapshot of a news headline that reported Fate of the Furious’ massive earnings of $532 million in just three days. “History,” Ludacris hashtagged. The celebrity dad also shared photos of him taking in the moment while watching a game at the Atlanta Braves Stadium with his girls. “#1 Movie in the World and there is no better way to Celebrate it right now than like this,” Luda captioned underneath a candid of him holding two Cai and Cadence.
Ludacris believes in the power of influence, which is why he prefers his daughters see women portraying powerful roles onscreen. “I love for them to see positive role models, especially when it comes to film, because then we can have that discussion afterwards,” the entertainer revealed during a recent interview with ESSENCE.
“For [Fate of the Furious] and some of these characters, it’s also about confidence and loving yourself and family,” he added.
Ludacris is the proud father of three children. Cai and Cadence are the rapper’s kids with his wife, Eudoxie Bridges. Luda’s oldest daughter, Karma, is the entertainer’s child from previous relations.
