Ciara hit the red carpet scene with her husband at the Academy Awards on Sunday and her pregnancy glow was evident. The celebrity wore two gowns, one for the awards ceremony and another for associated festivities, that showed off her baby bump.
Ciara’s red gown made of velvet material was a personal favorite for many. The dress hugged all of her curves and showed off just enough cleavage. Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, took several pictures with his wife that included one of him placing a protective hand on her stomach.
The Wilsons are expecting their child to arrive later this year. Russell discussed his impending journey down fatherhood lane last October. “Obviously for me and C it’s exciting,” he shared. “It’s a blessing, that’s for sure. To have a child is an amazing, probably the biggest miracle there is in the world, so I’m excited about that.”
Wilson further explained his goals for parenting by telling media, “If I can just be half the dad my dad was to me, I’m doing something pretty good.” He further explained, “You just love unconditionally. Love at all costs. I think that’s the best thing about it.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson are expecting their first child to arrive in coming weeks. The little one will join Ciara’s son, Future Zahir, at home.
