Jacob Latimore is starting off the new year having the best 2017 yet!
The 20-year-old’s most recent project, Collateral Beauty, debuted in theaters this past December, where he plays the embodiment of the abstract concept of time alongside Will Smith. The film showcased that Latimore is definitely one talented young man. If that was not enough, Latimore also, at the end of the year, dropped a new album entitled “Connection”.
“I’m really making a connection with myself, my fans, and my music,” Latimore told fans back in December when he stopped by the AOL Build Series event in New York City to promote the album and Collateral Beauty.
Fast forward to 2017 and it doesn’t seem like Latimore is showing any signs of slowing down. Due to release in April of this year, the rising superstar’s latest project entitled Sleight, is due to hit the big screen. In this action, sci-fi, drama, Latimore, starring alongside Storm Reid and Seychelle Gabriel, plays a young street magician who is left to care for his little sister after their parents’ death. Bo, Latimore’s character, turns to illegal activities to keep a roof over the pair’s heads and eventually finds himself in too deep. When his sister is kidnapped, Bo is forced to use magic and his brilliant mind to save her.
