Oh, snap! Madilyn and Mason Smith are getting into the holiday spirit. Monyetta Shaw and Ne-Yo shared pictures from the youngsters’ school parties earlier this week.
“W/ my favorite crew after their school parties & b4 dad time for Christmas,” Monyetta exclaimed. “Gosh I love them so much,” she added.
Madilyn and Mason were rocking sweaters that placed the gingerbread man at the forefront and bore the phrase “Oh snap” on it. Monyetta wore an adult version of the sweater while Ne-Yo went for a different style. The celebrity dad was photographed while hanging out with Madilyn in the classroom. “Me and the Princess,” he captioned.

Monyetta and Ne-Yo are exemplary parents from whom some moms and dads may take note. The former couple do everything within their power to work together when rearing their kids.
“I understand that some exes can’t get along or stand to be in the same place with each other, but we have made a conscious decision not to be those people,” Monyetta said at a joint birthday party for her kids that Ne-Yo’s wife, Crystal Renay, also attended.
“We understand that respect for one another is important, even if we don’t see eye to eye on a situation,” Shaw added. “We figure it out as adults and ultimately come to a resolve. It is so important to co-parent positively because that will determine the mindset of our kids in the long run. They are the bigger picture. We do it for them.”
Madilyn and Mason commemorated their fifth and sixth birthdays last month. Mason turned 5-years-old in October while Madilyn celebrated her sixth birthday on November 12, 2016.
