If you caught last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta then you probably had a box of tissue beside you. Tensions spilled over between Kandi Burruss and Russell “Block” Spencer concerning their daughter, Riley.
Things started heating up when Kandi was discussing the issue of child support and Russell’s failure to pay. “Of course I can take care of Riley, but I still think that, as her father, he should do his part,” Kandi said during the segment’s reflection. “It ain’t that much because he lied about how much money he had in court,” she added. “Now he don’t even pay that.”
While Kandi pretty much summed Russell’s lack of support up to an “oh well,” Mama Joyce wasn’t having it. The reality star’s mother suggested embarrassing Spencer in a very public way in addition to giving him the ultimatum to pay up or stay away.
Burruss later silenced Russell’s noise by telling him that Riley doesn’t want to establish a father-daughter relationship because of his actions. “Had you been doing what you supposed to do, you wouldn’t have to chase nobody,” Kandi said during a heated conversation in which Russell said that he refused to “chase” his daughter down. “Had you been doing what you supposed to do, you would’ve been had communication with Riley and me,” Burruss explained.
Check out the explosive scene here. Riley is Kandi Burruss and Russell “Block” Spencer’s only child. Kandi also has a son named Ace with her husband, Todd Tucker.
