REPORT: CHILD ABUSE INVESTIGATION DEEPENS FOR BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE

Things appear to be getting worse for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Several media reports reveal that the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is delving further into the couple’s rearing practices after allegations of abuse spread a few months back.

The investigation began with 15-year-old Maddox who was reportedly verbally and physically abused by his father on the family’s private plane. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) allegedly interviewed Angelina and the kids to determine if there was a case of mistreatment on Brad’s part. Since then, the investigation has been ongoing.

News of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce spread a few weeks ago when TMZ reported Angelina as the party requesting marriage dissolution. “Jolie filed legal docs Monday citing irreconcilable differences,” the media source shared with its readers. “She’s asking for physical custody of the couple’s 6 children. She is asking the judge to give Pitt visitation. It’s significant … she does not want Brad to have joint physical custody … only joint legal custody.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s separation came as a shock to many in Hollywood. It was just last year that the power couple told TODAY that Angelina’s decision to have her breast and ovaries removed to avert potential cancer development in the future. “There was no vanity to my wife’s approach. It was mature,” Brad said. “It was just another one of those things in life that makes you tighter, and she was doing it for the kids, and she was doing it for her family so we could be together and that trumps anything and everything.”

Angelina also commented on her experience. “I think that for as much as he speaks about my strength, he made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart and capable and cared about her family,” she said. ” I knew through my surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn’t going to be something where I was going to feel less of a woman because my husband wasn’t going to let that happen.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt parent six kids together. The celebrities were married for two years before calling it quits earlier this year. They enjoyed several years of courtship before tying the knot in 2014.
