Kevin Hart is doing a bit of reflection after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and his marriage to ex-wife Torrei Hart is one of the many things he wishes he would have done differently.
“I was young on my first marriage,” he explains to Chelsea Handler. “I got married at the age of 22. I was still all over the place. I didn’t really understand the definition of marriage. I wasn’t ready for it, so I take responsibility. I can say I messed my first marriage up. I’m man enough to say that.”

Even though the union didn’t work, Kevin and Torrei are successfully exploring life as parents of two children. “I will say that me and my ex-wife, regardless of the problems we went through, are in an amazing place now where we’re friends, we’re great parents, we’re co-parents,” he shares.
Torrei agrees as she was the first person to congratulate Kevin on his marriage to Eniko Parrish. “People really want me to be angry and bitter,” she wrote on Instagram shortly after Kevin and Eniko tied the knot. “We didn’t work out life goes on,” she added. “Now it’s time to be the best blended family we can be so our kids are surrounded with nothing but love. Congrats again!”
Kevin is certainly taking on the married life from a different perspective this time around. “I pride myself on living, loving and laughing,” he told Us Weekly on Monday. ” I spread that energy wherever I am, with whomever can be touched. My spirit is contagious and my wife gets it first hand.”
Kevin Hart has two kids, Heaven and Hendrix, with ex-wife Torrei Hart. All members of the Hart family were in attendance to support Kevin at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Tuesday.
